The Church continues to be alive and active, but now our buildings must close.
We are seeing an increase in the number of people falling
sick with COVID-19. We must physically distance ourselves from one
another and prevent the spread of infection in order to save lives.
Therefore, as well as public worship being suspended, this and all church buildings in the Diocese of Liverpool are now closed.
Our worship of God and our care for each other continues
but cannot be done in this building.
This website contains details of how to join others online for prayer, worship, study, and community life.
Please also see our Facebook link and page.
The vicar and churchwardens of this church can be contacted in an emergency by telephone - see below, or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org

“Even when the shepherd finds his lost sheep, it goes rushing all about – and the only way he can round it up is to seize it, hurl it to the ground, bind it’s legs, throw it over his shoulders and carry it home.
The poor sheep doesn’t understand. It thinks it’s being captured – killed!
But the shepherd is saving its life.
And sometimes we don’t understand what God is doing in our lives either. It may even look like God is hurting you.
But you can trust your Shepherd, who loves you. He carries you close to his heart.”
“He tends His flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs and carried them close to His heart.” (Isaiah 40:11)

Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy.
Sustain and support the anxious,
be with those who care for the sick,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may find comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen
