CAP Job Club

CAP Job Club is a friendly place where you will get practical help as you seek employment. It’s a relaxed environment with the chance to meet other jobseekers, get support and gain the tools you need to find work.

Being unemployed can be hard to deal with on your own, our CAP Job Club means you face the challenge with other people in similar situations. You will meet with people who understand what you are going through, and will support and encourage you along the way.

Our eight-session course will walk you through each step of the job hunting process; from identifying your strengths and skills, right through to writing a great CV and learning how to succeed in an interview.

The courses run on a Monday between 11:00 am and 2:00pm for 8 weeks and we offer continued support at the weekly drop in sessions once the current course is completed.

Thanks also to the Co op store in Ainsdale who have kindly provided tea and coffee supplies.

“From the very beginning and up to the present time I constantly felt the support from all the volunteers. They found time for me outside the class, for what I am very grateful. I was happy to wait for new meetings and learned a lot. My mother tongue is not English, I learned many new words that will also help me get a job. Many thanks for your patience and help”.
