Directions
St John’s lies on the A565, the main route between Southport and Formby. Please take care if using our Car Park, especially during the week when there is a Nursery in the hall.
From the South (Formby, Liverpool, etc).
Follow the signs for Southport, A565. After passing Woodvale Airfield the road narrows from a dual carriage way at some traffic lights, take either of the two right-hand lanes and continue straight on. At the next traffic light controlled junction (Kenilworth Road) again continue straight on. St John’s in on the right-hand side just after a pedestrian crossing.
From the North (Southport)
Follow the signs for Liverpool, A565. You will come to a roundabout with a Shell Garage on it, take the second exit, still sign posted Liverpool. St John’s is on the left after a car dealership, opposite a Chinese restaurant. The church is hidden behind a short row of houses. The car park entrance is just before the pedestrian crossing.
